TRANSCRIPT: Hi, this is Jonathan and today is the Monday Marketing Tip. Today I’m gonna tell you one simple thing that you can do this week in order to promote your business online without spending a penny. Good Monday morning, I’m in the process of getting ready to go in and talk to one of my favorite clients here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I want to talk to you very briefly about one simple thing that you can do this week in order to promote your business without spending a penny. That tip it’s optimize your Google business listing. When’s the last time you took a look at your Google business listing? . If you go to business.google.com and you lame your business listing. When’s the last time you updated that maybe added photos added video, took a blog post and added that to your listing, updated your hours of operation. I’m gonna bet in most cases it’s been months. If not maybe years, since you took a look at that. So today’s tip for this week; the one simple thing you can do is go to business.Google.com. Go into your business listing and do a few things. One update your office hours, or your operating hours during COVID Google business listings pretty much set everybody to call first, maybe close due to COVID. You’ve got to update your operating hours, whether that’s times you’re in the office, or just times that you’re open; you’ve gotta update that to get rid of that notice. Obviously you want people, if they find you on Google to know that you’re open. So I recommend you do that. The second thing that I recommend you to do is take a blog post or a video, much like the one I’m doing here and post that, not only on your website and on YouTube channel and on Facebook, as we’ve always talked about, but also take that video and post it as an update to your Google business listing page. You should strive to have 50 photos and 10 videos uploaded to your Google business listing. And once you do that, you should strive to update your business listing with a new video or a new image anything like that, a blog post, whatever, once a month at a minimum. So that’s a tip for this week. Go out, find your business listing page, if you don’t already have it, get connected and make that update today, or at least do it this week. Who’s with me.
